The story began in July of 2021. Ryan and Samii both decided to take a trip to Connolly's Irish Pub in Uptown, Charlotte, with no intentions of meeting a special someone.

Samii was dancing with her friends, minding her business, when she saw a tall, tan and handsome hunk across the bar. Samii knew she had to meet him. So, in Samii-like fashion, she approached Ryan. You heard that right, Samii hit on Ryan first. After their introduction, sparks flew and the two knew they had to see each other again. Funny enough, they only lived 5 minutes down the street from each other.

Following that night, their dates became more frequent, their talks became deeper and their affection grew stronger. After some time of getting to know each other, the two made their relationship official.

Throughout their relationship, Ryan and Samii have visited each others family, toured each others hometowns, bonded with friends, traveled together, created a home together, sadly experienced the loss of Samii’s dog, Sasha, and eventually chose to raise a puppy together, Gus.

In May of 2023, Ryan knew he wanted to take their relationship to the next level by proposing. He thought no better time than on Samii’s birthday. After talking with both families and consulting with Samii’s best friend on planning, the question was popped on August 11th. Of course Samii said yes.

Since getting engaged, Ryan and Samii have loved growing together. Whether it's hosting friends for bon fires, growing in their careers, or making our own little traditions, they have loved every second of this exciting chapter.

After many months of planning and envisioning, their day is fast approaching. Ryan and Samii cannot thank you all enough for the support and love you have provided them in their relationship, wedding planning process and taking the time to join them for this amazing weekend. They would not be where they are today with out all of you! Most of all, they are excited to bring all of their favorite people to one place so both of their worlds to celebrate together.
